Regular exams: absence & de-registration
Unexcused absence = 5.0 (fail). Sick? Submit the PU certificate within 3 working days.
- You are automatically registered for regular examinations.
- Any unexcused absence is graded as failed (5.0).
- De-registration is only possible if:
- You are ill: submit the “PU” document (Prüfungsunfähigkeitsbescheinigung – certificate of inability to take an exam) within 3 working days after the exam date.
- Exceptional reason: submit the de-registration form 1 week before the examination. Travelling back home is not an exceptional reason.
